jpg files and registry

Hello everyone

I try to find in windows 2000 server
reg - registraation which is responsible
for opening for example - JPG files by
concrete application , how using registry ,
I can modify this , so t JPG files will be open
by , for example -by Ms Word or by Adobe Photoshop ???

Open a CMD.exe prompt and type
assoc .jpg

Assuming it returns
..jpg=jpgfile

then type
ftype jpgfile

Now type
ftype jpgfile=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

where xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is the program/parameter needed to open jpg files.
