I have 2 (so far) jpg images on my website. The one on the shared border
goes blank, (with a red x in box) when I switch over to preview mode. The
other image, which is within text of the main body box, shows up just fine.
What am I missing? Thank you!

Are both files actually within your Web "tree" and are both referenced
relative to the root of the Web? I think that you can see something
like this if you have a reference to an image in another local folder,
outside your Web - it won't Publish properly, either.

I apparently did both the same way, clicked the courser where I wanted the
image, and "inserted" it from my hard drive's files. Both appear to be the
same, but the logo does not show up in my folder list view. How do I correct
this? Thank you!

Wihooo - I copied it in windows explorer out of the folder it was in and into
the same folder the other jpg is in. I am not sure how to "import" it, but
this seems to have worked. Thank you so much!

You need to have the web / site open in FP, then you would drag-n-drop the image into your current
open web / site, not via Windows Explorer directly into the folder holding your web / site.

Copy & pasting into the web folder is not the same thing. The Import
command is on the file menu.

File->Import and Drag-and-Drop have the same result (provided it's drag
from Windows Explorer and drop into an open FrontPage web)

Drag-n-Drop is the same as using File Menu | Import, whereas copy and paste should never be used.
