I have one group photo, B&W, that comes out so grainy
once on the big screen. I did originally scan it through
Adobe Photoshop and did some cropping. When i see this
photo full size on Adobe it looks great. When I import it
to Movie Maker, it is barely noticable. Why is this
distorted? My other photos are not. Any possible ways to
fix this?

Thanks!

The project preview mode of Movie Maker is 320x240, probably a lot less than
your picture. But a saved movie from your project will be the pixel
dimensions of the setting you select. But movies are typically much lower
resolution than high quality still pictures.

Yes, if you can give me your input. thanks. I'm wondering once we get the
DV-AVI if it will look better? That's if we can ever get the dang thing to
save. Stops saving after 9%.

Crop the photo exactly to the size of 640x480 or 1280x960.

Now use an WMV output profile which uses exactly 640x480 size.
