I'm a newbie and apologize if my problems have been
posted before.

A website changed my starting page, but I changed it
back. The other "damaged" was now my IE couldn't display
image with high resolution quality. I could view JPEG
nicely using viewer or image editor, but not with IE 6.0
wist SP1. The JPEG looked jagged.
How to fix this problem so my IE will be able to view
JPEG pictures nicely in high resolution?
Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
D.S. Basuki

I don't think the first problem could affect the 2nd. Update your video
drivers and see how things go.

jagged?

could it be squashed?
If the picture is too big for the screen then ie resizes
it, making it fit, but this makes the image look bad,
to make it the real size again:

mouseover the image, then goto the bottom right corner of
the image, then click the expand box.

Thanks for the reply.
No. It's not squashed. It's in normal size. The image
seemed like degraded in resolution, so it looked like
jagged (like bitmap files), and it only happened in IE,
not anywhere else. Once again, it only happened AFTER the
hijack. Before, it was fine and normal (beautiful 32 bit
color). Thanks in advance!

IE is notoriously hard on video drivers; far more so than other browsers.
It will show up weaknesses that don't appear elsewhere.

I'd like to see a screenshot of the bad jpeg; feel free to email it to me;
also, please you be more precise about exactly what hijacker you fell victim
to?
