jpeg images look compressed on IE

Weird problem that appeared suddenly on my desktop...
All the jpeg images that appear on IE look horrible like they are compressed
at 80% or something.
Is there a solution for that?

PS: i tried with another browser and same problem...i guess its not IE fault

Sure. Uninstall the dialup accelerator program you installed just before
the problem began.
