jpeg files

I have windows xp and I download jpeg picture files from
the internet but cannot open them when sent to my
pictures or my documents. They just appear as a "box"
rather than a picture. How can i have then appear as a
picture or open the box (file)?

Empty your Internet temp cache, in IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
