I have a Dell XPS running XP. Occasionally, my optical
mouse will go nutso and fly to a corner of the screen. I
move it back to the center no real problem just annoying.
Well I got a Thrustmaster Afterburner II joystick and I
am playing BF 1942 and all of a sudden my plane just
starts doing loops like the joystick center configuration
is messed up. I go to the game controllers setup and it
says the joystick is ok and working properly. I calibrate
it just to be sure and as I watch the test area the
joystick cursor moves around without me touching the
joystick. I call Dell and they have me delete all the
things under my usb area of the device manager. I restart
and it seems to be okay. Then I play some more and my
mouse goes crazy again and I looking straight up and the
game is spinning. Could it be a usb thing? 1.1 devices
not liking 2.0?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
