Is there a way to adjust the "dead zone" for my joystick
from within Windows XP? A registry or .ini change?
Perhaps a little known Power Toy-like utility?

The game I'm currently playing, Battlefield 1942, has
terrible joystick support and it doesn't look like it's
going to improve anytime soon.

I have the same problem. I found a program at
www.wingmanteam.com DXTWEAK2 but it does NOT work for me
in XP and DX9

EA should really fix this or provide a deadzone setting
in the game. I have wrote letter after letter to them to
get them to fix this to no avail. This was working before
patch 1.4
