Have an old Gravis Blackhawk serial joystick that doesn't seem to hold
calibration. Trying to use MS Flight Sim 2004. I calibrate, save,
everything looks OK. Get in Flight Sim and its way off. Go back to
calibration and it shows the joystick off calibration. Repeat process
with the same results. Doesn't seem to matter what resolution settings
I use (I dount that it matters anyway).

Rest of system:

Asus A8V Deluxe
Ath 64 3000 Venus
1 gb
eVGA FX-5700ultra
slightly o/c'ed to fsb 235mhz.

System has been stable for everything else though FS is the only game.

Any thoughts?

TIA, CV.

I had the same problem, it seem to happen when "Cool N Quite" changed the
cpu speed. Now I just disable it when using the joystick.
