Journal Time Tracking

This is driving me nuts. I just the journal to track the time I spend with
different clients. What I want to know is how to change the time format.
Sometimes it says 2.3 hours, sometimes it says 335 minutes. I want it to
track it in minutes. How can I get it to consistently do that rather than
sometimes in hours and sometimes in minutes.
