Journal lost after user changing

Hi,

Connected to a new network domain, I had to change my user name (new profile
on my pc). I have exported all my old application settings, and reconfigure
everything. I have one problem : on my new account name, the journal doesn't
work again. It doesn't keep trace of the actions done. On my old account
name, it was working perfectly. It seems that the journal is still connected
on my old profile.
Is it possible to switch the journal on my new profile ???
Can I activate the journal ?
Any help will be appreciated....

Thank you for your quick response.

In my current profile, I find well the file Outitems.log, but Offitems.log
is missing.

In my old profile directories, I don't find any of the both file.

In the registry,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Journal
I have well the both keys : Outitems.log and Offitems.log

I have tried to create a Offitems.log empty, but it doesnt' change anything.

Any idea about what I can do to use again the "journal" features ?
