For some reason, using Windows XP and Outlook 2000, my laptop only gives me the possible journal entry type selections of Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint. On my desktop computer, which syncs over a network with the laptop, the journal entry type selections include phone call, task, and many others etc.....

Any thoughts on what could have happened on the laptop? It doesn't make any sense. All of our other desktop computers offer many other selections as well. It's only on the laptop that we have this issue. HELP!?

did someone edit the registry on that machine? you can remove them from the
registry... HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Outlook\Journaling
