Hey this is a silly question and I know it wasnt possible under NT
but.
Is it possible for me to have a PC that is joined to 2 separate
domains that do not have a trust?

I currently have a small domain at home that I use for testing and
playing around and studying and I have a domain at the office. I want
to know if I cna have my laptop logon to either domain. (establishing
a trust between them is not an option unfortunatly) Currently I use
terminal services to access resources on my domain so I don't have to
jockey more then 1 computer..
Is there a 3rd party tool that would let me do this?

Just curious

No its not possible.

But here is an easy solution to your problem:

On your home domain create a user account with exactly the same username and
password as your work account. Give this account the appropriate rights on
your home domain. When you take your laptop home, log in to it as your work
user - you can then manually map drives, connect to printers etc on your
home domain.

Nope not possible but you can

1. Use RUNAS /NETONLY combined with NET USE /USER commands to run applications and make drive connections to the
non-trusted domain. Note that this will NOT work for Exchange 2000.

2. Sync your userid and passwords, note that if you have a member servers and domain controllers at home this gets
painful because you will need ID's on all of the member servers as it won't automatically use the domain ID.
