Hi there,

We have got two locations, A & B, with following setup:

LOCATION A
-----------

WINDOWS 2003 SBS WITH ISA (Call it SERVER-A)
ADSL CONNECTION
DRAYTEK VIGOR 2600 PLUS ROUTER CONNECTED JUST TO SERVER'S EXTERNAL
NIC, WITH STATIC IP 82.170.X.14, ALSO ITS OTHER IP FOR NAT USAGE IS
192.168.1.1 AND DHCP IS DISABLED
2 NICs ON SERVER(INTERNAL IP 192.168.100.1, EXTERNAL WITH STATIC IP
FROM ISP 82.170.X.9)
10 WORKSTATIONS WITH WINDOWS XP PROF
EVERYTING WORKING FINE!

LOCATION B
-----------

4 MACHINES WITH WIN XP PRO
ADSL CONNECTION
DRAYTEK VIGOR 2600 PLUS ROUTER (CONNECTED TO THE 16 PORT SWITCH) WITH
STATIC IP 82.172.X.14, ALSO ITS OTHER IP FOR NAT USAGE IS 192.168.5.1
AND DHCP IS ENABLED

WHAT I WANT AT LOCATION B
--------------------------
I would like to specify domain on all four PCs as SERVER-A and log on
to SERVER-A (ie the server at location A) so that clients on location
b can do everything and have priveledges as clients on Location A (i
know it will be bit slow)

WHAT I HAVE ALREADY DONE AT BOTH LOCATION
-----------------------------------------

I have successfully setup LAN-to-LAN VPN between two VIGOR routers and
in the connection management screen on both routers http interface, it
says they both are connected and the tunnel is up!

PROBLEM !!???!!!
-----------------
XP PRO machines at LOCATION B cannot even ping 192.168.100.1
They are getting IP addresses as 192.168.5.10 and so on from the
router's DHCP and are able to access internet and all, but they cant
ping server's internal IP address (ie 192.168.100.1)

I know i m a newbie and making a blunder somewhere! Can some one
please help me out ?
Or do i need any other approach ? Like :-
making vpn from router at location b to isa server on server at
location a
or, making vpn from router at location b to server at location a
or, some other approach ??

Cheers!

Since you mentioned ISA, have you opened up the appropriate ports therein?
I'm not sure what you'd need to do as I don't use ISA. You might want to
post in m.p.windows.server.sbs for help with that.

Note - please lose the caps lock. It's very hard to read, and is considered
"shouting".
