I have server "A" loaded and running AD, now at a different location I want
to promote server "B" to join server "A" domain as a domain controller, and
replicate "A"'s AD through the internet.

Do I need to create a VPN connection in order to do this, or do I promote
server "B" as a new domain AD, then make them connect and replicate ? or
what ? me confused...... I have both servers setup as "NameServers" with
Server "A" as primary DNS zones, and server "B" running secondary DNS zones
and updating from "A" Just can't figure out how to promote "B" to a Domain
Controller replicating with "A" yet

Thanks

you definatly want a vpn or come secure connection from serverB's location
to serverA. once they are able to connect and talk to each other you can
just promote serverb, and during the promotion all the objects will be
replicated over.

Mucho Thanks for the answer.
