Hello There,
First let me thank the two gentlemen who helped me in my previous
"headache".
My "headache" this time is this. I have a Canon printer BJC-4300 with
one parallel exit (my previous computer , a Win 98, has a parallel
socket and runs with Intel system, and printing is still fine) and I
now have a Windows XP Media Center with USB sockets only and runs
with Athlon system. I recently bought a "USB to parallel cable
(together with its CD-ROM)" and hoped that it would solve the problem
of attaching my Canon to this new PC. At the very beginning I could
print from XP to Canon but very quickly the task became impossible.I
was not able to print anything. (The printing from Win 98 to Canon is
still perfectly OK.) Any ideas? Is this an impossible task?
Thanking you in advance,
Have a good weekend,
Urban.
