I have two subnets. 10.160.x.x and 172.20.x.x
I have a win2000 box multihomed on each subnet.
I have tried setting up the multihomed pc as a router and
that was unsuccessful. From my workstation on the 172
subnet, I was able to ping the 10.160.x.x interface on the
multihomed pc but I could not get past that. An tracert
to a 10.160.x.x address would be routed to the 172.20.x.x
interface on the multihomed pc.

After that failed I tried using the multihomed as a vpn
between the two, but I have no idea how to set that up.
Please help me, e-mail if the resolution is too large to
post, or if you want to see routing tables, I can e-mail
them to you.

Bill

Hi Bill,

Have you enabled TCPIP forwarding on the multihomed Windows 2000 Box?

Hi Bill,

You are right in going for routing to get your subnets to talk to each
other. Can you send the outputs of route.exe on the router machine?
