Joe, or anyone with Access experience:
I have posted an item, a few steps below, with the
subject:
Copying Records from dBase 7.0 files into Existing Access
Table.
I'm lost, and have data from 9 different dBase 7.0 files
daily to import into an exisiting Access 2000 database.
The issue I forgot to mention is, I have substituted a
like-named cell LST (that is blank by default in all
records to be imported) with an Auto-Numbered cell by the
same name. It's a nightmare to have to manage all of the
imported data for all nine files daily. What I'm
concerned about is that by importing the new records into
the Access Table, will the Table override the blank LST
cell and automatically input the AutoNumber into each new
record that's imported? ...or will it halt on that?
Thanks,
- Mike
