I got an error on windows 2000 Professional, It boots up
fine, but it says.
(system\currentcontrolset\virtualdevicedrivers.vdd virtual
device drivers format in the registry is invalid)How can I
get rid off this message. thanks let me Know.

If you proceed with it, ensure you follow each and every step
_precisely_. Including the use of regedt32.exe

Do a full registry backup via ntbackup.exe before you dive in.
