I've got XP and IE7.

Often I watch items from newsletters that are shown on videos, but the
videos most of the time are jerky, in fits and starts and with long pauses.
Is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks

Hello,

Hit the pause key and let the video buffer (usually indicated by a bar in
the playing timeline) fully before playing it.

Youtube has that feature (a red bar that fills as it buffers) and chances
are high that the newsletter site has too. If not, you can submit a
suggestion to them to implement a buffering mechanism in their flash player.

Yes, I do that. But is it because my computer is slow to download, or do
most people have the same problem?

Hello,

Many possibilities

1) Your connection may be slow, and/or
2) The server may be slow, and/or
3) Your connection is used to the max (e.g. P2P concurrent with other
network activities), and/or,
4) Your ISP may be playing up, try again another time and/or
5) Your PC may be busy - check your CPU usage in Task Manager (right click
taskbar blue area, task manager)
