jerky cursor

My cursor at times times seems a bit jerky but the main
problem is when I want to watch DVD's. The picture and
sound is jerky it is watchable on small screen but on
full screen it is quite impossible to watch. I use
Windows Media Player.
Can anyone help please. It has only started happening
this last month.

Did you ever get a solution to cursor problems? Mine
jumps all over, in every application, making typing
impossible as letters I'm typing get inserted wherever
Microsoft feels like it...need help and Micrfosoft Help
is so frustrating
