When I try from an analog camcorder to edit a film ( in WMM ) which includes panning the play back is jerky as if each second frame is missing. What am I doing wrong? is there any way of overcoming this without buying a digital camcorder?

Tell us a bit about your computer - the CPU speed, the amount of RAM. And
your method of capturing the video from the camcorder to Movie Maker.

The answers to Papa John's questions are: The computer is an Intel P4 Hyperthreading 2.66Ghz CPU with 800Mhz bus. Asus P4800S mainboard. Ram = 512 Mb DDR RAM PC3200 400MHz. Whatever all that means I don't know! Method of capturing is by S Video at 25 fps into Windows Movie maker. prior to that I tried 30 fps. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
