javascripts not working in ie

hi people !
i have this problem that javascript is not running in my
ie , but it works fine in opera . please suggest something
.. i have downloaded sun ' java . but nothing happened

Java has nothing to do with JavaScript.

Check that your security setting are allowing scripting.
