on page' and the answer will not appear.can anybody help me.i am running xp
pro with sp2 fully updatedalan

i have checked java for updates.i am running latest.
version1.5.0_06-B05.this problem is not there all the time, but mostly it
is,if that makes sensealan

OK. Can't help with the problem you are experiencing but I would recommend
that you use something other than a webbased newsreader.

http://www.java-faq.com/javascript-void-0.shtml may explain part of your
problem however.

I see that your first post was from your news reader but the last post was
from Outlook Express. I would recommend OE as one good alternative and
comes free with your OS.

Java has nothing to do with JavaScript. They are completely different. As
for the javascript:void(0), that is just a dummy statement. You are getting
an error because there is actually an error on the page or you have popups
blocked.
