Javascript - says not enabled, but it is!!!

Okay, my java will not work. I have it enabled in my
security options, and in the advanced options. java WILL
work immediately after i restart my comp, but then a short
time later, it will just stop working. i downloaded jvm
as well, but that did nothing. i need java!! help!!
 
Is your problem with Java or JavaScript?
They are different things.
 
Tools | Internet Options | Security
Highlight Internet and click Customize.
Make sure that JavaScript is set to enable or prompt.
 
I did that.
