Ever since loading SP2 I've been having problems with my online classes.
(They are given via the webCT program).

Discussion windows are opened with java, for some reason void keeps getting
in the command:
javascript:void(showMessage('serve_bulletin?ARTICLE+854482898+2289'))

When the windows used to work (and sometimes do, ONCE, after restarting IE)
it always has just javascript:showmessage(...etc..).

I've enabled all the java options under tools, and even updated java2.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problems with my internet classes,
only when I enter my user name and password on my
college's homepage, after I hit submit, it acts like it's
gonna open, but immediatley closes my whole IE6. The
screen just flat out disappears.
I had to finally d/l Netscape, in order to get on my
WebCT's.

Disable IE's popup blocker.

Thanks, I wish it were that easy. I've disabled what SP2 enabled, and the
google toolbar I've been using. I think at this point I'm just going to
reinstall and older version of IE (since I can't find where to download the
most current version.)

I saw a fix for IE6 SP1 and windows opened by java command, but I can't
install it with the SP2 version... nor can I retro install SP1 ("you have a
newer version already installed. Closing now." pfft.)

Thanks for your help.

Be well.
