Since a few weeks now i have a problem on my laptop.
I can't figure out what it is....
I've downloaded the needed Java and flash software but still no reaction.

The problem is mainly that everytime I press a submit button with the code "Javascript://" I get NO reaction. What am I missing?

plz help me out.. this **** is annoying :-s

Could you give some more details, like what browser you're using (Internet explorer, Mozilla, Opera, Netscape etc) and what the page is so it can be tested? That would get you much better and quicker results.

:o oops offcourse dude.. sorry

On this page for example... The submit button for when you search for a user.
(button is on the right-top-side of the screen)

I use IE 6.0
No firewall, except for windows(already tried turning that off)
i also have a router, but that shouldn't be the case because it does react on my PC

well I tested it with both mozilla browser and IE and they worked for me so I can at least say it's not problems on the website itself. what I suggest is that you install the newest version of java again but not from the site, instead go to www.sun.com and get it there. I beleive that j2se 5.0 is available. hopefully that will clear it up. if not then just let me know.

I already have that version of Java..
Like i said no reaction..

I was curious to see if it would work with firefox.
turns out it DOES work with firefox:confused:

Mozilla, exactly

See this is exactly why i use mozilla for most of my browsing. It's much more secure and flexible than IE and from what I've seen the security is much tighter than IE as well. Sorry that java update didn't fix your problem with IE but as far as I'm concerned you really should be using mozilla anyhow but that's just one man's opinion. Just a thought, you might check under your IE browser settings and make sure it's not automatically blocking javascripts. You can do that by clicking Tools, then clicking Internet Options. Click on the security tab and make sure that all the icons under it are not on a custom setting. If they are you might click the Default level button. That might work, but let me know what's up.

hahaha.. that's what i started to do for now.
I really don't mind using firefox...
but i just thought it was strange because i don't have that problem on my pc and my brothers laptop

ps. i tried putting everything on default... but stil no action.
I'm gunna copy the settings on my pc,.. I'll let you know in a while
