I have been trying to open links today but am unable to. There seems to be a
problem with java. I can open every other thing but any link or shortcut to
a java application will not work. I have IE> 6.0 sp2. I uninstalled IE and
reinstalled to see if that would kill it, but no luck. Also, I tried to
install MSN EXPLORER but it said that one of my SP2 files were missing, how
is this possible?
I have the explorer set to medium security for java. Boy, any help would be
really appreciated

WinXP does not come with Java support.

Java VM: http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_9.htm#java2
Understand that because of a court decision Microsoft will stop all Java
support recommending that you use the Sun JRE.
