Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
(ensure that "JIT compiler" is checked in the Microsoft VM section)
If using Sun JAVA, open the Control Panel applet for "Java Plug-in." On the
Browser tab, ensure that Microsoft Internet Explorer is checked.
Changes to either of the above require a reboot to take effect. If you should
find that Java is missing from your computer (a pretty common occurance),
