Java ???

I have java-5-10. In the progam files I have three earlier versions.
Question: Can I delete these versions safely????

Uninstall the old version of Sun's Java. Then go to java.sun.com to get
the latest version. You might want to consider leaving enabled the
option to check for updates (which adds jusched.exe to the Run registry
key), or disable it and check when you want.
 
Be careful with the latest version as once I installed it I lost all content
on every website I went to.
I could view source & it looked ok. Once I restored to yesterday, it was OK.
