Java support

I am trying to open a file that says my browser is not set up for java. I have tried everything. Even the advice here. I have the microsoft java vitual machine updated, changed from custom to defalt settings and nothing works. Any other suggestions?

In Internet Explorer - on the menu-bar

- In the "Internet" zone,
- Under "Security level for this zone",
[Custom Level...]

The page might need a newer Java VM. Due to the Sun lawsuit the Microsoft
Java engine is very outdated and pretty soon will no longer be supported
because Sun wont allow them to distribute a new version or updates.

You should download the latest Java VM from:
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp
