Java Scripts Problems

I'm trying to test a java script popup in a new html file but SP2 seems to be
blocking it. I've unblocked the feature from the information bar but it
reverts back to blocked version at the next instance of IE. In additon, the
control panel security settings cannot be set below Medium further
complicating things.

Does anyone know how to temporarily disable this blocking function ...
beyond just one instance of IE?

Click on Tools, Internet Options, and then click the Advanced tab. Scroll
down to the Security heading and check 'Allow active content to run in files

Thanks for the advice. I've checked the box you suggested and the problem
seems to be solved. I appreciate the help.
