Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if not perhaps a
suggested alternative.
Every so often, about every month or so, I get a message on a "balloon" at
the bottom of my screen that Java Runtime needs updating. I click on it to
update, shortly thereafter it says ready to install. Click that, install
works for a bit, then a message says 'J2SE Runtime environment 5.0 update 6
is already installed and update not needed.'
Why does it put me through this exercise?
