Java problems (???)

I just switched to XP Pro and have IE6, ActiveX 9 and
every other update I can think of. Why is it on some web
pages, some links won't open. I get things like a blank
box with a red "X" in it, can't open page errors. I think
I'm running Java 2. Is it a Java problem or something
else I can attack. Please help. Thanks.
 
Try this, it worked for me and reduced my IE problems
greatly.. !

Go to Start|Run and enter one line at a time (or even
easier,
open a DOS box and copy the following in its entirety

and then paste it
