Java? problems in IE

I'm having an odd problem where occasional links and
pages won't work correctly or at all, and it appears to
have something to do with Java. I did some research on
Microsoft's site, and the Bejewled demo launches ok on my
machine so I guess this means Java is working correctly
on my PC. I still have problems, however - such as none
of the links on www.ifilm.com work for me, and when I try
to browse through certain web sites (such as www.williams-
sonoma.com) I get a sort of header at the top of the page
that is showing some html code. After I get a few pages
into the site all I get is the HTML source code for the
page, not the page itself.

I'm currently trying to find out if this is also caused
by the fact that I have Frontpage 2000 installed as
well. My current machine is running Windows XP with the
current updates, and I'm running the current version of
IE (6.0.2800).

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
