Java Not Working

Hi all,

Have a small problem....when I visit websites with java, none of the java
works properly.

Example...when I click the picture to enlarge it - nothing happens....

Like this:

I have Windows XP / IE 6.2800.1106 SP2, which I believe is configured
correctly to allow java to run...I also have Norton Internet Security - I
believe that configured correctly as well.

Any ideas on what else I can check?

Be sure that NIS is disabled when installing updates as per the above link
(or any other s/w, for that matter).
