Java Help!

Hi all, I have IE7 and I'm not sure if I have Java. I have been to Internet
Options, Advanced and I don't see Java there but if i go to Programs and Set
program access and defualts, then I see Java there and it states it's using
my current virtual machine for java...but that's it...I have a funny feeling
I don't have it!!!! any help much much appecciated!!! Thanks
