Java help....

Hello all. I downloaded an updated my computer from the microsoft website, and now anything to do with java (yahoo messenger chat, avatars ect..) won't work
I can't find what is causing the problem. can someone plz help?

You might try use Sun Java. It has been recommended for Windows XP
