Recently I noticed that some IE browser pages where Java applet are normally
carried out do not function any longer. I see a blank page whit the ominous
little red cross. When I verify the Java Conrtol Panel , Advanced tab, I
notice that Applet tag support for IE is unchecked. However, when I tick
this box I receive a warning saying "Unable to change Browser settings,
Please check if you have sufficient permissions to change system settings".
I am working with Administrator rights. What am I doing wrong??
My PC: XP Home SP2 with all updates duly installed.
