I have been trying to get back on pogo. I say back to pogo because I have
not played in a while. When I try to go into a room in hearts it will not go.
I have tried to run different java's and no success. When I go to internet
options, advanced, then to Jave (sun), it is checked but their is no Jit
compiler for virtual machine enabled. What can I do?

Go to http://www.msn.com search, type:Microsoft Java Virtual Machine In the
results,locate the download from a 3rd party,it'll have X86 on it
somewhere.Once
installed, restart computer, once in xp,run windows update for the newer
version..

If you have norton internet security 2005, disable it. Try the games.
I have found that norton does something to java. The fix is to re-install
norton, but that's only temprorary. Norton seems to be clueless for a better
idea.
Another interesting thing, is that it does not affect all of pogo games-just
some.

I found the solution to my particular problem with pogo. Playing with
Symantec's (Norton) solutions, I came across something totally unexpected. I
was supposed to configure security settings for all the web sites (addresses)
pogo was sending me. It hit me when I was looking at the next address to go
to when my mouse was over the play button. It said 'Open Pop UP', then listed
the address. The program was not blocking java.It was blocking a popup. Look
at the address closely at the bottom of your screen when you place your mouse
over the start or play button. Pogo and I found java.
