Java and activeX

Why can't I run Java anymore? My computer says it is not installed but was previously there. And I always get an ActiveX seurity control message.
 
I believe you can't download it anymore, at least not the
Virtual Machine from microsoft. If you have one of these
endless AOL CD's around...you can install it from there,
it's included on most of them, just open the CD with
explorer and look for JAVAVM (javaVirtualMachine), after
that check windows update site for an security update for
it.
