i bought rise of nations but its in japanese, not english.
i need to know how to change it to english so i can play

I'm not aware of anyway to change the language, I've just had a quick scout
on the net and not been able to find any solutions.

If it's in the wrong language you should be able to return it.

i think you are out of luck. i am in japan and use them
all the time. actually, if you have a japanese os, an
english game may not work correctly---or visa versa
 
u cant set it to english unless there is a ingame mode to set it in englis,
dont begin with installing the multi languadge pack becouse the japanees is
included in the game code.
u can alway's try and learn japanees :)
 
I have an English copy of Windows XP, and a Japanese copy (only one
existing) of SDF Macross VOXP, and it works fine. I simply have to use
NJSTAR CJK viewer to see the characters.
