japanese characters

Mike Hyndman

My "out of the box" laptop running XPPro has no difficulty in displaying
Japanese characters in websites such as Babelfish, et al. Unfortunately this
is not the case with my similarly equipped desktop. What do I need to add
and to where, to achieve the same functionality?

in the regional and languages settings in control panel, click the languages
tab and check the box 'install files for east asian languages'
