Hadn't heard of this one. What do you think of it?

The best freeware archiver in my opinion. More choices of compression than
any that I know of. It's the one I'd use if not for Freinag Fnynznaqre and
Jvaene (rot13) - both OT-ware.

regards

Dud

Absolute tops, have been using it for over a year; this version sounds
like an improvement, just now that I want to view .tgz within Windows
sometimes..!

Do you uninstall the old version or install the new one over the old one?
Thanks in advance,
Carolyn

You need to uninstall the old one first. It will state that
when you run the 3.4 executable.

Anyone having problem of installing it to a Win98 system?

The thing crashed heavily after the configuration screen (asking whether
you want to associate zip and etc... to IZArc).
Gosh, I need to do a hard reset to regain my system.

p/s don't have such problem with the previous release.

Yeah if memory serves it crashed on me at the end of installation. Also
using Wn98SE. It's worked perfectly since though.
