One thing I like about Izarc. It doesn't clutter up the right-click menu.
The only option on the first menu is titled "Izarc", and then a submenu
branches off of that for all the actions that Izarc can perform on the
selected objects. I wish all of my options on my right-click menus were
organized that way. So often my right-click menu is cluttered with options,
and I don't even know what program put those options there.

Agreed. It's a great, feature-packed archive program, too.

I had problems getting it to open ARC files at one time. Hope the
author's fixed that problem.

That is something I don't like about it ;) .
I like to right-click (I can do this with a keyboard stroke)on a file and
then hit one key to extract a file. Like the shell extension of
PowerArchiver. That's why I now use nagware for my archives, because I got
tired of using 4 different kinds of freeware.

As far as I remember, the context menu created by Izarc in the
explorer is fully customizable : the user exactly sets up what he
wants to be displayed there.

Yes, but it lacks shortcuts. You still have to move to the menu option
using the mouse or arrow keys.
