I've tried everything....nothing works

I have tried everything imaginable to burn this movie to a cd and it just doesn't work. I saved it to my video's folder as a movie (WMV file). But the icon in the folder is NOT the windows media player, it is just a black box. However if I double click it, it will open and play in the media player.
I have tried burning the movie to CD through, movie maker,it will only save the project NOT the movie. Through Nero, it fails as a data cd and as a vcd I get a cd with four folders that do nothing if clicked. If I bring the movie up in media player and then try to burn it....the cd will play about half way then I get an "error reading disk" message.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??????????

I´ve been trying to create a film from pictures with the

movie maker. I´m getting it, but I can´t burn the project
into a CD. A message appears saying there isn´t enough
memory when I try to save it on my computer, but I´m sure
there is more than 11 GB on it. It seems the movie maker
doesnt detect the CD drive or the space.
Help Me, Pleeeeeaaaaseeeeee! I don´t know what to do!!!!!
