A BFG 8800GTX OC 768MB! :eek: :o :D :cool:

Bit of an impulse buy really, dont like having to turn down the AA and AF.

Will be here tomorrow, will let ya know. :)

Yep, will be selling that, I noticed a few games i play on the new 22", need the AA and AF turned down a bit, to stay smooth, so i figured 'why not' From what i've read, at 1680x1050 the GTX will be great.*

After i've sold the GTS it wont have cost me that much. :thumb:


*I wonder how many people are reading this thinking 'Your nuts' Well you maybe right, but i am thinking 'Crysis' ;)

The 98's are coming Feb/March earliest, The rest is pure speculation, and who's to say i wont get one of them.... :D

I'm thinking of upgrading my 128MB PCI-E card for something more powerfull.

A question about your PSU is it at the bottom there?
Not seen that before, but probably the normal on new cases I presume.

The PSU is at the bottom because there is a 200mm fan in the top. ;)

Some have it below some above, depends on the case.


Just been playing some games. The GTS was no slouch, but this is something else! Played Dirt, Stalker, MOHA and a few others, all at 1680x1050 maxed out and 16x AF and AA (Not stalker, as it dont use it). FPS still never less than 50! cards running at 650/2000 with 80% fan speed (default is 60%) via Rivatuner, temps of 65-70c full load.

At 1280x1024 the GTS is all good, but if you want to run AA and AF at higher res, this is the baby you need, imo.
