I am recieving a STOP error when I start my computer.
I was on my computer one day just browsing the internet, I
think I was checking stats for a competition, so it was
not anything like me opening a program or virus. And my
computer just restarts.
As it restarts, it runs smoothly. It then shows Windows
XP loading with the blue bar moving. Then it turns black
as if it is loading something. Then for a split-second it
shows a blue screen with a STOP error and restarts. I
actually had to use a camera to see what the error said
because it went too fast (think of all the film I used).

The STOP error reads:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Failure}
The Session Manager Initialization system process
terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.

Please help me.
I have had to reinstall Windows XP and all the my programs
four times in six months (takes about two weeks to do each
time, including me being in school and homework).
I am very disappointed in the creation of Windows XP and
how unstable it can be.
Not only that but just to get an answer from professionals
because in order to do that I need a product ID from that
computer but I cannot start the computer much less find
the Product ID. So I have no choice but to come here and
look for help but no luck for five weeks.

Please help me, 16 year old people weren't meant to think
this hard.

Thank you,
Cody Thimm

.
sounds like a hardware failure ,try starting in safe
mode?????to find out your id #????pump the F5 key at
startup until it appears select safemode(or was that the
F1 key,one or the other,bios 5 whatever pump 5,if that
don't work,try 1)start up in safe mode.

Hit the F8 key to start XP in Safe-Mode.
Why does it take you 2 weeks to install XP and other software? I can
install XP and all software in 4 hours, including a full format. I
really believe my system is an average one. Two weeks is much too long,
unless you are hugely physically challenged.

By the way, it is possible to keep your machine from rebooting each time
it encounters a "BSOD". This will allow you to see the BSOD message
without trying to capture it with a camera.

1) Click on "Start"
2) Click on "Control Panel"
3) Make sure Control Panel is set for the Classic View
4) Click (or double-click) on "System" icon
5) Click on the "Advanced" tab
6) Click on "Settings" under "Startup and Recovery"
7) Uncheck "Automatically restart" under "System Failure"
8) "Ok" out

It will save you a lot of film:-)
