iTunes/QT6 installation trashed

Hi
Somehow my Windows installation of iTunes/QT6 got trashed. Tried to
uninstall, this froze, then tried reinstall and am informed that some
required
files are missing. Doesn't tell me which files. How can I clear everything
related and start again? Are we talking registry editing?

Any ideas
