Itunes 7.5 unable to install on Windows XP Professional

When I try to install it goes all the to almost the end and then I get this
error:
Unable to install iTunes could not open key
Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\shareddlls

I'm having exactly the same problem, with the same key and same updating.
